The BestDeelz on Money Making Opportunities on the NET!
Lets' Focus on Integrity.
I worked for the same company for almost 20 years. As many
of you know, it is difficult to leave a place you call
'home.' Well "I" didn't have to make that decision because
I got the pink slip!
I was lucky, or so I thought because I was a new recipient
of a BS in Electronic Commerce, I thought I knew it all!
The world is on the Internet... and I am out to stake my
claim!
How wrong I was!
My first attempt was focused on 'pretty colors.' My next,
was a purchase in the then famous Internet Malls.
I lost money on search engine promotions, and bad affiliates.
You name it... I joined! I fell for almost every 'make money'
ad I read, dumping good money after bad.
Any of this sound familiar? You Bet it does!
I was reading some forums this summer and noticed I was not
alone. All too many people have been scammed. I began to
wonder if earning that BS degree was really worth it and
worse... what the BS actually stood for?
Can you believe the FAQ answer in this site I came across?
"The reason why we do not disclose our phone
number is because of illegal activity that
anti-spammer groups use in order to stop ones
business from advertising there legitimate
products on the internet and like to make
false remarks stating that everything that
someone sells through direct email marketing
is a scam and I am not saying there are no
scammers out there I am just saying that not
everyone is and to make remarks like that
is not right. We would be more than happy to
give you our mailing address if you wish to
send your payment by mail. You can understand
that if you were harassed over and over again
you would do the same. "
See what I am getting at? A quick check with the BBB
reveals - they have complaints. Surprised? No, I did not
send the $49 nor do I know of anyone scammed by these people.
My point is, there are all too many sites just like them out
and about. I am not trying to lead a crusade to abolish them.
Although it would be nice
I know there are more people looking to make honest money!
Sure, we all want that fast buck, that constant stream of
big cash, but the reality is... it will not happen overnight!
Making a site that spins tales of great fortunes or flat out
scams hurts good honest people, makes a mockery of the
Internet and angers me to no end!
To honestly market your site, you need to have some integrity!
Be open, truthful, and honest with your prospective customers.
Follow up, answer questions. If you do not know the answers
to a questions take that extra step and contact someone that
can answer.
Unanswered emails and ignoring questions
will only make people feel you are really
not who you say you are and worse, make
unbelievers of your products. For me,
not listing SOME sort of contact is a red
flag. No, I am not suggesting your giving
ALL of your personal information out there
but a real email address is good start!
Good honest sites take time and effort. By just popping up a
site and posting ads claiming how wonderfully fantastic
your product is will only hurt you and many others in the
long run.
Many things have changed over the years but the definition
of integrity has not.
Enjoy Life!
